What we do
Discipleship through the bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ are the heart of our program. We use the DISCIPLESHIP process as the vehicle on the road to recovery. Our mission is to introduce our students to the LIFE-GIVING benefits of daily prayer, bible study & practical application, worship and communion with Jesus Christ.
During the program students will be provided with the following practical blessings, as needed:

Clothing
Hygiene Products
Basic Medical Care
Counseling
Mentoring
Court Advocacy
While in Miriam House recovery program, ladies will participate in a variety of activities such as:
Classes (e.g., addiction, inner healing, healthy relationships, parenting classes, and much more.)
Work Therapy
Ministry Outreaches
Community Service Projects

We know committing to a long term program is a big decision. We are here to help you on your journey to life transformation. The first step to our enrollment process begins with a phone interview. The woman interested in enrolling into Miriam House would need to contact our intake coordinator and schedule the phone interview.
The phone interview takes less than 10 minutes and by the end of the call you will know if you are accepted into the program or not. Upon acceptance we then schedule a day for you to come in.
During the phone interview we explain, in depth, the structure, requirements, and cost of the program. There is and $2,000 fee to enter our program but if a potential student can not pay, THEY CAN ASK ABOUT OUR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM. We know that you can not put a price on freedom, so we allow people to come whether they can pay or not.
