Our Story: Discover the Miriam House Journey

Miriam House is a FAITH- BASED, Christ centered, residential recovery programs. Miriam House is long term, usually lasting 12-18 months. While many enter the program for drug or dependency related issues, Miriam House is for individuals dealing with various LIFE-CONTROLLING issues that prevent them from living out their God-given destiny.

We believe that HEALING and WHOLENESS are available and waiting for these individuals. Through their healing, their families can be restored, and generational cycles of dysfunction can be broken. We believe that being BORN-AGAIN of the spirit and developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ enables a person to become a new creation. Giving her a NEW IDENTITY, one not associated with a former lifestyle full of regrets and mistakes.

We believe that people can be RECOVERED and not in a constant state of recovery like many secular rehabilitation programs teach. The Bible teaches that if any person is in Christ, they are a new creation. Simply put; If they are reborn of the spirit, they are RECOVERED.

Who We Are

Student Life

While in the program students participate in a variety of activities such as but not limited to, Biblical education, spiritual counseling, work projects, ministry outreach to the local community, and a number of community service projects.

During their time in the program, we seek to introduce each student to the benefits of incorporating into their daily life spiritual disciplines such as prayer, Bible reading and meditation, Christian fellowship, regular church attendance, worship, and Christian service to their family and community.
