Miriam House is a discipleship program with a vision to teach women to be who God created them to be. Each woman we help REFORM we are also helping our COMMUNITY and NATION by sending these women out as Godly, PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.
Our Vision
Our vision at Miriam House is to see women set FREE from the bondages of addiction and life- controlling issues. We want to see them walking in a completely new identity. One where they do not identify as women in recovery, but as HEALED & RECOVERED! Our goal is to see destructive GENERATIONAL CYCLES BROKEN and to see FAMILIES RESTORED.
We are a faith-based recovery program. We believe that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through a born-again experience, and applying biblical principles, allows a person to walk in a NEW IDENTITY. We believe that a woman will not even be the same woman that she was while in addiction and dysfunction. The Bible teaches in 2 Corinthians 5:17 that if anyone is in Christ, they are a NEW CREATION. This is exactly what we have been seeing in the lives of the women who enter Miriam House... TRUE TRANSFORMATION & LIFE RECOVERY!

Miriam House and God has given my daughter Shana Tanner her life back. I had never heard of Miriam House until Shana went to jail and her sister Whitney Grissom was trying to get her to go there. I started researching them and listened to Caleb McCall and Tasha Hill on Facebook. I knew immediately that this is where Shana needed to go. I have not been disappointed. There has been such a transformation in Shana and I thank God every day for what he has done and for allowing her to go to Miriam House. She is now on Staff with Miriam House and is giving back. She always wanted to help other people and now she can. She has a big heart and God has filled it up with love and compassion for others. Thank you God and Miriam House for giving me my daughter back, for giving my grandkids their mother back, for giving my son his sister back and for giving her sisters their sister back. Praise God!!!! Miriam House and Be the Bush keep on keeping on!!!!!!!!
